Glasses!!!!

Ok so I never imagined this day---the day I would buy dollar store magnifying glasses!!!!! I've always had better than perfect vision but all of a sudden I can't see to thread a needle or read things up close. Wow! Didn't see this coming(pardon the pun!)

White shoes and a pedicure

There's nothing like a pedicure to make this girl's day. Now for the white shoes.....it's probably been 25 years since I owned a pair of white shoes---not including the white satin heels I wore with my wedding dress 18 years go. Ok, so anyway, I have always had a deep-seeded issue with white shoes. It's the little Baptist girl that was forced to wear white patent leather shoes with lacy socks. Omg the flashbacks!!!! So...fastforward 25 years or so and I bought a funky, super cool pair of white cork-wedge heels. And I wear them without bad memories of white shoes on a Sunday morning. Ha!

Luke and "Saint"

Luke was finally able to get his hands on Saint (our colt that was born the day before the Saints won the Superbowl). Such a precious pic. Too bad just seconds later, Saint bit the heck out of his arm!!!! Dont think Saint is still Luke's buddy.

AARRGGHH!!!!!!

Well, superbitch has arrived! It's been ten days and I am still hurting. And I am sick of it! What's with it? "You should be back to normal in two or three days." What happend to that? OMG!!! I am seriously irritable as hell and can't cover it up. I'm tired of my leg hurting an I'm tire of being immobile and unable to do what I normally do. SCREAM!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I'll stop whining ... . . for now!

Life

Soooooooooo much going on. The past ten days have been a total blur to me. I feel as if I am in a fog. Granted, I was on pain killers for a few days however the feeling still lingers. I have no idea what is in store for my life, however I am clinging to the hope that it is all GOOD.

I was overwhelmed today with how wonderful my boys are. They are growing into awesome young gentlemen. How lucky am I to be their mother! And I have been equally overwhelmed at the help of Jimmy after my surgery. He has been amazing--helping me and also doing all the housework. And realizing just how much I do. He even said that I am underpaid. lol

I am just thinking outloud. . . .
