Yay!!!!!!!

This is a super happy moment!!! After six weeks in a thigh cast, and four weeks in a boot and a week of physical therapy (so far)....Asa is finally walking and feeling oh so good about it! We are hoping he will be free of the last crutch in a week.

My Jackie O dress

WRONG paint color

Why is it the paint dries perfectly on the swatch card at the store but dries terribly wrong at home??? I'm going to try a few more coats and if it doesn't get better then I'll be back at the painstaking store on Monday.

First Day of School 2010

I ate a bug! (sort of)

Sooo, I along with three other moms, took a crew of kids to New Orleans to the aquarium and insectarium last Wednesday. It was the beginning of our


"Wacky Wednesdays" for the summer. anyway, I was dared to eat a chocolate covered cricket. And so I did. It wasn't too bad til the chocolate melted and then CRUNCH!!! Omg! Nasty!!! But atleast I tried it!
