Well it's only been a year but it is FINALLY coming together. What once was a screened-in-porch is now an entry and office. Painted all weekend and this is the entry. All is finished here except for the light fixture and flooring.

my version of the dress--totally cracks me up!

ok, sooooooooooooo the dress has abolutely noooo shape however doesn't look too bad on. i think i need to shorten the length of the tshirt and band. may work on that tomorrow. but i HATE to rip out a seam. ugh!! we'll see and no I will not stand in a boat to take a pic.

Feeling creative

So I am in the creative mood . . . gonna make my own version of this dress TONIGHT! chcck back tomorrow for the end result and if there is no pic, then you know it didn't come together as planned . . . which is highly likely! lol

If only I could crochet . . . .

LOVE this crocheted collar!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Maybe I'll buy some needles and make one of these. Can't be that hard, right? lol!

Asa was cooking an egg this morning and said "next time you get a house, can you make sure the condoms are not so high?" Ok, I fell out laughing. He has no idea why. He meant to say "condiments" although he was referring to the salt and pepper/spices. But "condoms?" HILARIOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, I have kept my mouth shut long enough. This is ridiculous. I am not one to care what public people do in their private lives--never have. I don't care about John Edwards' love-child or Monica Lewinsky's fascination with cigars or David Letterman's girlfriend(s), etc. Seriously, it is none of my business. And some may say it's because they are in the public-eye that gives "us" the right to know their private lives--I disagree. And to interrupt television with a "special news report" so that Tiger can apologize--Sheesh!!!! A "special news report" would be an airplane crash or the 9-11 disaster or the gulf war or the earthquake in Haiti, etc. But to say that Tiger's apology is on the same level as one of the true national emergencies is an insult to those who have ever been touched by a disaster. If everyone would be as concerned about their own lives as much as they are about other's then we would all be better off. Seriously, leave Tiger alone to let his wife deal with him. It seems she has done a pretty good job of it when she beat him with a golf club!!!!

almost 3 months!!!

It's been almost three months since I last posted on my blog. To my large following, I apologize. I know you have missed my writings tremendously and thus I promise to do a better job. However, baseball is getting started and we will be in full swing very soon so. . . . . forget that promise. Lol!
