WRONG paint color

Why is it the paint dries perfectly on the swatch card at the store but dries terribly wrong at home??? I'm going to try a few more coats and if it doesn't get better then I'll be back at the painstaking store on Monday.

First Day of School 2010

Well here they are--my beautiful boys!!!! All were smiling although they wished Summer would last forever!!!!

Painting with my family

I gave my mom and sisters gift certificates for Christmas to Corks n Canvas and we just went last night. It was so much fun. I learned a lot....including the fact that I am no artist!

Brushy Creek

All the boys rode horses in the National Forest and I met them for a picnic. Then the boys cooled off in the creek. Fun times!!!

I ate a bug! (sort of)

Sooo, I along with three other moms, took a crew of kids to New Orleans to the aquarium and insectarium last Wednesday. It was the beginning of our


"Wacky Wednesdays" for the summer. anyway, I was dared to eat a chocolate covered cricket. And so I did. It wasn't too bad til the chocolate melted and then CRUNCH!!! Omg! Nasty!!! But atleast I tried it!

Mothers Day

What an awesome day I had.

special--church, lunch at La Caretta's, Global Wildlife Center, Target, and Baskin-Robbins!!! Plus gifts galore!!! All of that was super great but the best part is just being the mama to four wonderful boys!

An old record

Sooo I saw this idea on the Internet. Melting a record and shaping it into a bowl. Interesting concept. So I went straight toy local junk store and bought an old 33 for $1.
